When I use different hair Brushes, it hurts me and rips out my hair. This comb is so good. The bristles are really firm and gentle on my scalp. It doesn’t hurt when I use this at all
My tween daughters have extremely curly and THICK dense hair. They wanted to love the DD, but what they thought they could use it for (in the shower) doesn’t work as they thought. It’s hard to handle as it’s very large, and kinda slippery and almost too light. As an adult I can handle it a bit better but it takes some getting use to and it does feel like I’m going to break the handle. Also if you DO use it in the shower, it gets water logged and is difficult to drain it out with its hollow nature. So I can’t use while drying if it’s the same day as wash day. Maybe it will get better. I do like the sturdiness and the height of the teeth. But definitely underwhelmed so far. Especially for the high price and shipping.
Hi Kathryn! Thanks for your in-depth review! Are you or your daughters still finding the brush hard to handle in the shower? We're in the process of redesigning the handle slightly to make it thicker and textured so it's less slippery and would love to hear if you're still feeling the same way! Also considering making a smaller kids version! xx
